Welcome to the Queer-Tango-Marathon
at Proitzer Mühle

Proitzer Mühle is a lovely privately managed seminar house in an old, beautifully restored water mill under monument protection. The mill is situated in an undisturbed secluded area in the lush hills of Naturpark Elbhöhen-Wendland – surrounded by meadows and forests, ponies and mill-ponds.

Accomodation is in cozy, rustic double rooms, single rooms or in one of two mattress halls. If you like you may bring a tent or your trailer – and for all those who don’t secure a room in the house there are privately rented rooms in the surrounding villages.
The beautifully restored dancing hall with its fantastic sprung floor invites to dance the tango.
The small garden hall – where ducks may watch through the window – we offer the basic workshow “fit for the tango marathon”, suitable for everyone who wants to try out the other role and haven’t done so on the dancing floor yet.
A comfortable chill-out area attached to the dancing hall, tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets, as well as midnight soup, tea, coffee and cake all inclusive round up your all-around carefree happy tango-marathon-Easter 2017.

On location there are a sauna as well as two icy mill ponds, and massages can be booked additionally.
Accompanying non-dancing family members can rent bikes and explore the wonderful area.

You want to bring your kids?

We offer a reduced fare for children:

0-3 years free in a side bed
3-12 50% off of double room fare

If we have more than one child joining us we’ll offer child care – please write us how old your kids are. It’s Easter!!! We have confirmed information that there’s an Easter nest in the area. So the Easter bunny will secretly hop through the moist grass at night and hide some Easter eggs…
The mill offers a lot of space for playing. Draw with chalk. Ride the bike or the scooter or the bobbycar – and go looking for the Easter bunny.

Older children can make trips to the surrounding stables:
